PORTFOLIO > Paper: Insect Drawings

These large-scale drawings, started in the Summer of 2012, are referenced from actual specimens. It's a project I have been thinking about for quite a while -- stemming from a simple fascination about how these animals are put together. Insects remind me of grids, in way. Their parts are similar, follow a pattern, and are predictable -- yet seemingly limitless in variety.
